Women’s Imaging
Welcome to the Women's Center at Lake Medical Imaging. For almost 25 years, our staff of qualified and trained radiological professionals has been serving the women of our community. The equipment, procedures and personnel at the Women's Imaging Center are fully accredited by The American College of Radiology. Each of our radiologists is board certified by The American College of Radiology and has had formal training in mammography. Those performing core biopsies have had additional training.
In fact, Lake Medical Imaging has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
